"Mens", "Men's", and "male" are three different filters.

Every import adds spellings. Atlios keeps an approved list, flags the strays, and renames most of them in bulk.

Where values drift.

None of it looks broken in your admin. All of it costs you.

Vendors spelled three ways
Your vendor filter shows the same brand three times. Atlios renames them to the approved value, in bulk or through Lio.
Product types that don't match
Collections and feeds miss stock filed under the odd one.
Tag sprawl
Atlios flags tags outside your approved list. You clean them up with bulk add and remove, or ask Lio.
Option names and values that vary
"Navy" and "navy blue" split one colour into two.
Metafield values outside your allowed list
Filters and AI tools can't read what doesn't match.
Tags doing a metafield's job
Atlios can migrate a tag to a metafield across the catalog.

What changes.

Three spellings of one thing, renamed to the approved value.

Common questions

How does Atlios know which value is right?
You approve the list. Catalog standards hold approved values for vendors, product types, options, tags, and metafields. Atlios renames anything else to match.
What about a new value that's legitimate?
New values go to a review queue. You approve them into the list, or map them to an existing value.
Can I undo a rename?
Yes. One click rolls back the whole job.
Does this help Google Shopping?
Yes. Feeds read product type, vendor, and attributes. Clean values mean fewer rejections and better filters.
