Terms of service
By creating an account, connecting a Shopify store, or otherwise using Atlios, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Last updated: 4 August 2026
Who we are.Atlios is operated by SDFP Software Solutions ("Atlios", "we", "us"). The service is offered to Shopify merchants and agencies for catalog operations.
Use at your own risk.Atlios drafts changes for your Shopify catalog and applies the ones you approve. You are responsible for reviewing every change before publishing, for the commercial outcome of those changes, and for keeping your own backups. The service is provided "as is" with no warranties. See sections 11 and 12 for full disclaimers and liability limits.
1. The service
Atlios reads your connected Shopify catalog, scores it against built-in and custom rules, drafts fixes, and publishes the changes you approve. The service is provided as a hosted cloud product. Features may change over time. We will not remove a core feature you rely on without reasonable notice.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
- One person per account on individual plans. Team plans allow multiple seats subject to plan limits.
3. Connecting your Shopify store
To use Atlios you connect a Shopify store via OAuth. You grant Atlios read access to catalog data (products, variants, metafields, images, collections, inventory) and write access scoped to the changes you explicitly approve in the diff editor. Atlios does not write to your store without your click-through approval on the specific items in question.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Upload, generate, or publish content that infringes intellectual property, defames, harasses, or is otherwise unlawful.
- Attempt to access other accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise probe the service except as expressly permitted by law.
- Use the service to send spam or malware, or to circumvent rate limits and quotas.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute access without our written permission.
5. AI-generated outputs
Atlios produces draft suggestions (text, alt text, edited images) using third-party model providers. Drafts are surfaced for your review. You are responsible for checking each draft for accuracy, trademark, brand fit, and legal compliance before publishing. We make no warranty that AI outputs are correct, complete, original, or fit for any purpose. You retain ownership of outputs you publish to your store, subject to the rights and restrictions of the underlying model providers and any third-party content used as input.
6. Plans, billing, and refunds
- Pricing and plan limits are shown on the pricing page and apply to the plan you are on at the time of consumption.
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance by Stripe. Usage-based credits and overages are billed at the end of the cycle and capped at the published monthly overage limit for your plan.
- Each paid tier ships with a 14-day trial. No card is required to start a trial.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the billing dashboard. Access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not provide refunds for partial periods, unused credits, or downgrades, except where required by law.
- We may change pricing, with notice posted on the pricing page. Material price changes for existing customers will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
7. Beta status
Parts of the service are offered in beta. Beta features may be unstable, rate-limited, or withdrawn. We will work in good faith to fix issues affecting your catalog but do not warrant any specific uptime, throughput, or quality target for beta features.
8. Your data and content
You retain ownership of your Shopify store data and of the outputs Atlios generates from it. You grant Atlios a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to provide and improve the service. We will not sell your data and will not use your catalog to train shared public models.
8a. Data protection and processing
Where the data we handle for you includes personal data, you are the controller of that data and Atlios is your processor. This section, together with our privacy policy, forms the data-processing agreement between us, and it applies from the moment you connect a store.
On that basis Atlios will:
- Process personal data only to provide the service, on your instructions, and for no independent purpose of our own. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising.
- Process the minimum needed for each feature. Where a feature can work on aggregate figures, we read and keep the aggregate rather than the underlying records. Order data is the clearest case: we store weekly per-product totals, never individual orders, and we do not read customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or addresses.
- Tell you what we process and why, in the privacy policy, and keep that description current as features change.
- Keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, per the retention periods in the privacy policy, and delete it with your account when you close it.
- Protect it with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, and audit logging, and notify you of a breach affecting your data within the timeframes required by law.
- Engage sub-processors only under equivalent written terms, list them in the privacy policy, and give you at least 14 days' notice in-product before a material addition takes effect.
- Assist you in responding to a data-subject request, and delete or return personal data on your written instruction.
If your organisation requires a separately signed data-processing agreement or standard contractual clauses, email privacy@atlios.io and we will put one in place.
9. Our intellectual property
The Atlios software, brand, rules engine, documentation, and the design and code of the service belong to Atlios. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of those rights to you. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the service without obligation.
10. Service availability
We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice, and downtime caused by upstream providers (Shopify, hosting, model APIs) or by force majeure is excluded from any availability commitment.
11. Disclaimer of warranties and use at your own risk
You use Atlios at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of AI outputs. You are responsible for reviewing every proposed change before publishing it to your store, for maintaining your own backups, and for the commercial consequences of any change you approve. Atlios makes no guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, secure against every threat, or that it will meet your specific requirements.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atlios is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim under or in connection with these terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the one month before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Atlios harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your content, or your use of the service in violation of law or any third-party right.
14. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from the billing dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, non-payment, or risk to the service. On termination, your right to use the service ends and we will delete your data in line with the retention schedule in our privacy policy.
15. Changes to the service or these terms
We may update the service and these terms. Material changes to the terms will be announced via email and in-product at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai for any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms, except that either party may seek interim relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
17. Miscellaneous
- If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
- Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
- You may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign these terms to an affiliate or successor.
- These terms, together with the privacy policy and any plan-specific terms, are the entire agreement between you and Atlios on this subject.
